Ksplitters =======

PriceSplitter is a web application that allows users to to join groups and record joint expenditure. PriceSplitter will automatically divide costs equally between group members and give clear instructions on how to balance accounts.

The Project is a web based application which includes both BlackBerry and Android applications. The Database is fed with data through those interfaces and are processed by the server PHP scripts calculate what is requested at the user level and published through an appropriate interface The mobile applications are web based applications but optimised to the platform APIs.

KSplitters unfortunately could not complete the system implementation up to an up and running point, but we have got a semi functional database, web interfaces, mobile app interfaces all functional. The section we couldn't complete was the PHP scripting which does the calculations and passing information to the different interfaces. KSplitters used the fuel frame work for PHP from the begining , in order to communicate with database, create sessions and other regular PHP functionalities, for this KSplitters were creating an API from fuel framework but unfortunately couldn't complete it within the given time limit.

We believe that we came up with a brillient idea and if we had some more time, we could have delivered an awesome app which could make many people's lives easier.
